The 1988 Range Rover Halt’Up, victorious in the Merzouga 1000 Classic.

Today is the day everything will be decided for the Range Rover Halt’Up during the fifth stage of the Merzouga 1000.
108 kilometers to finally see the finish line, with plenty of fast sections and a fair amount of sand, as the competitors will end with a passage through several dune ridges in Merzouga’s sandbox — the Erg Chebbi.

A few kilometers after the start, Grégory Florin’s buggy runs into some trouble, forcing him to return to the start line before eventually rejoining the track, now with a significant delay. Meanwhile, Grégoire de Mévius drives on without any issues.

The HDJ 100 from Panasport ends up being caught after a navigation mistake, then stops due to some minor mechanical problems before getting back on the move.

Grégoire de Mévius will finish the race ahead of the pack, alone. He attacks the dunes and treats us to a few jumps over the crests — one of which will leave a mark on his bumper.

And there he is, arriving behind the wheel of his stunning Range Rover Halt’Up, taking the lead in both the special stage and the overall race.
