Tony Pellegrino is the boss of Genright Off Road in the United States based in Simi Valley, California. Genright is one of the leaders in the manufacture, sale and distribution of parts and accessories for Jeep. Tony created this company in 2006 but he is above all an all terrain enthusiast.
Tony an off road fan
Fallen from his 5 years in the all terrain, Tony pursues his dream of mixing work and passion. It organizes a famous outing every year at the end of the King Of the Hammers which allows 4 × 4 drivers to take part of the race tracks. He participated in many 4 × 4 races and events with for example:
- 10 King Of the Hammers, he finished second in 2011 & 2014
- Ultra4 championship
- Easter Jeep Safary
- Off Road Expo
- SEMA show
- more than 45 Jeep events per year

Terremoto a Jeep JKU Ultra4 but street legal
Tony is a true creator. He has already produced a number of exceptional Jeep, but for this 2020 edition of the King Of the Hammers he decided to go back to basics with a crazy bet: hire a Jeep Wrangler JK street legal (which therefore has the right to drive on road at USA).
So here is Terremoto : earthquake
This 2014 Jeep Wrangler was originally designed to be exhibited at the SEMA show. Over the years it has undergone many transformations and evolutions. She became one of the icons of Genright Off Road and rolled her crampons on a number of shows and gatherings.
At the end of 2019 with a few friends, Tony will ride in the Johnsson Valley. On site, jokingly they say that it would surely be fun to participate in the KOH with Terremoto. This vague idea launched into the air ends up becoming a real project. Tony accompanied by Nick Repanich are going to floor on the vehicle.
Because there is work to be able to run in category unlimited 4400. Many safety rules will have to be applied. But in less than 2 months the vehicle will be ready to embark on the adventure.
And in the end what a result! And be aware that this vehicle can be driven on the road and is registered. To my knowledge this is the first Ultra4 4400 of this type.

Terremoto Jeep Ultra4
The base is therefore a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from 2014. the majority of the original body parts will be replaced by custom. An Ultra4 approved arch is built and will receive the new panels.
As for the engine, Tony made an engine swap in favor of an LS3 of 427 ci (7.0 l) of displacement which develops 640 hp and 806 Nm of torque!
On the suspension side, Tony chose Fox shock absorbers in 3 ″ x 14 ″ with an IBP (internal bypass) with coil over on each wheel. The suspension kits are of course from Genright. The axles are Currie Extreme 70 Hi pinion. The tires are Mickey Thompson Baja BOSS 40 x 13.50 x 17 ″ mounted on forged KMC Machete rims in 17 x 8 with aluminum beadlock.
I cannot detail all the modifications in detail, but you will find at the bottom of the article, the complete list of the preparation.
32nd at King Of the Hammers 2020
After 11 hours and 45 minutes of battle on the slopes and in the more difficult areas, Tony finally crosses the finish line. What a feat with a vehicle built on an original chassis, with improved shock absorbers but far from the systems found on other Ultra4 class 4400. And in addition it ends with a vehicle approved for the road. Well done Tony and the whole Genright team who made this dream possible!
